Terms of Service
By accessing theluminary.ai or enrolling in any Luminary program, you agree to these Terms. Luminary is operated by Luminary Labs Private Limited (“Luminary”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India (CIN U85500DL2026PTC466756).
Who can use Luminary
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to enrol in a paid program.
Our programs
Luminary offers three kinds of learning experiences: cohort courses — paid, live, instructor-led programs delivered online to a group over a stated duration; live sessions — free standalone online events; and recorded materials — recordings and resources shared with enrolled participants. These Terms use those words with those meanings. Program details, schedules, and pricing are described at the point of enrolment and may change from time to time.
Enrolment and payment
Paid enrolments are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay. For customers in India, prices are displayed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable GST. For customers everywhere else, prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD), subject to applicable taxes, if any. Your seat is confirmed once payment is received.
Access and delivery
Cohorts are delivered live and online over the stated duration. You are responsible for the equipment and internet connectivity needed to participate.
Participant conduct
You agree to engage respectfully and not to disrupt sessions, other participants, or instructors.
Intellectual property
Copyright in course materials rests with their respective authors — the instructors who create them, and Luminary Labs Private Limited for materials we produce. All materials are provided to you under a limited licence for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not record, reproduce, redistribute, or resell them, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy below.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Luminary’s programs and materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, for educational purposes only. Except as expressly stated in these Terms — including our Refund & Cancellation Policy — we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee any specific professional, business, or financial outcome. Nothing in our programs constitutes professional advice.
The outcome of a program depends on your participation; a result different from your expectations does not by itself constitute a deficiency of service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminary’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a program — in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the fees you paid for that program, and Luminary is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days shall be referred to arbitration before a sole arbitrator seated in New Delhi, conducted in English under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Subject to that, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the laws that apply to you.
Grievance redressal
If you have a complaint about the platform or any content on it, write to our grievance contact at hello@theluminary.ai. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, consistent with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Privacy Policy
Luminary Labs Private Limited is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through theluminary.ai, in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). For visitors in the European Union and United Kingdom, we honour the rights provided by the GDPR and UK GDPR; for California residents, the rights provided by the CCPA/CPRA.
Data we collect
Contact details (name, email address, and phone number where you provide it); professional information you choose to share (such as role or company); billing details you provide at checkout (billing name and address, used for invoicing and GST compliance); your enrolment and communication history; and confirmation of payment. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay — we do not store them.
How we use your data
To process enrolments, deliver programs, communicate with you about sessions and your account, respond to enquiries, and — with your consent — send you relevant updates and offers.
Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of your consent and to perform our contract with you.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate — for example, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics — under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time — under the DPDP Act, and, where they apply to you, the GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. We honour these requests regardless of where you live. To exercise these rights or raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer at hello@theluminary.ai.
Cookies
We use essential and analytics cookies to operate and improve the site.
